Shipping Guide
Shipping Your Hardware to Jackson Electronic Repairs
Improper packing is the leading cause of fatal hashboard damage. Please follow these strict guidelines to ensure your hardware survives transit. Failure to adhere to these standards may result in unrepairable transit damage.
1. How to Pack Hashboards
- ANTI-STATIC BAGS: Place each individual hashboard in an anti-static bag.
- FOAM ONLY (NO BUBBLE WRAP): Use custom-cut solid foam (minimum 2″ thick) on all six sides of the board. Do not use bubble wrap or packing peanuts as they compress and shift during transit, causing corner impacts.
- BOX SIZING: Use a double-walled corrugated box with just enough space for the foam padding. The board should not be able to move inside the box.
- SEALING: Use heavy-duty packing tape and seal all seams (H-tape method).
2. How to Pack Full Miners
- ORIGINAL PACKAGING: Always use the original manufacturer box with the original fitted foam inserts if possible.
- IF NO ORIGINAL BOX: You must use extremely dense, thick foam to completely immobilize the heavy unit.
- NO ACCESSORIES: Do not include power cables, ethernet cables, or any other accessories. They will not be returned.
3. Required In-Box Documentation
You MUST include a physical piece of paper inside the box containing:
- Full Name / Company Name
- Order / Booking Reference Number
- Phone Number & Email Address
- Pre-paid Return Shipping Label (We require you to provide the return label).
