Terms of Service

Terms of Service & Warranty Policy

By engaging with Jackson Electronic Repairs for ASIC repair services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Our policies are designed to be fair, transparent, and strictly enforced to ensure the highest quality of service.

1. 30-Day Limited Repair Warranty

We stand behind our work. Jackson Electronic Repairs provides a strictly limited 30-day warranty on all completed repairs, starting from the date the carrier marks your repaired hardware as delivered.

Crucial Warranty Condition: Our warranty covers only the specific component we repaired or replaced. ASICs operate under extreme stress, and it is entirely possible for a new, unrelated component on the same board to fail after a repair. If a board is sent back under a warranty claim and our technicians determine that the new failure is unrelated to our previous work, it is not covered under warranty. In this scenario, you will be quoted for a standard repair, which will result in additional repair charges.

2. Warranty Remedies (Re-Repair Only)

There are absolutely no monetary refunds (money back) provided for completed repairs or warranty claims. If a warranty claim is validated and the failure is directly related to our prior repair, our sole obligation is to re-repair the board at no additional labor cost. We do not offer “try it and return it” services.

3. Shipping Responsibilities

The customer assumes all responsibility for shipping costs. This applies to initial repairs and all warranty claims.

  • Initial Repairs: The customer pays for shipping to our facility and pays for the return shipping back to them.
  • Warranty Claims: The customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways. If an item is returned for warranty evaluation, you must provide a pre-paid return shipping label, regardless of whether the warranty claim is approved or denied.

4. Diagnostics & Evaluation

Every board sent to our facility undergoes a rigorous diagnostic process.

  • If you authorize the repair, the diagnostic process is included in the repair fee.
  • If you decline the repair after diagnostics have been performed, or if the board is determined to be unrepairable, a flat $50 diagnostic fee will apply per unit.

5. Exclusions and Voiding of Warranty

Your 30-day limited warranty is immediately voided if any of the following occur:

  • Damage caused by improper packaging during transit.
  • Evidence of immersion cooling oil, water damage, or environmental corrosion.
  • Physical damage, burnt traces from power surges, or damage caused by improper power supplies.
  • Evidence of tampering, aftermarket firmware overclocking beyond manufacturer limits, or third-party repair attempts after our service.

6. Abandonment of Property

Invoices must be paid within 30 days of completion. If hardware is left unpaid or if return shipping labels are not provided within 30 days of repair completion, the hardware will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Jackson Electronic Repairs to recoup labor and storage costs.
